Terms of service
What you agree to, in plain words.
Six answers, and short ones: Riffmap is small, invite-only and run by one owner on one server, so its terms fit on a page. Nothing here is copied from anyone else's.
As of October 2026. When the product changes, so do these words.
Using it
What is Riffmap?
A map of a meeting, drawn from its transcript. You give it the words that were said; it draws where the minutes went, what was decided, which ideas came up and who said them. It is run by its owner, on a server the owner keeps, for the people the owner has invited.
Who may use it?
An account the owner has invited, and no one else. There is no signup. A Google account signs in only if the owner has already invited that address by hand; any other account is turned away, and nothing is written. Asking for an invitation on this site is a request, not an account — the owner reads every one and decides.
An invitation is to one address and is yours, not for lending. If you want a colleague to see your meetings, ask: the owner can invite them in beside you.
What may I send it?
A meeting you have the right to share. Riffmap reads transcripts — from the tool that records your meetings, or a file you upload — and only ones you are allowed to hand over: your own call, where the people in it know it was recorded. Someone else's private call is not yours to send.
A language model reads every transcript to draw the map. On this server that means Anthropic's Claude, reached through the owner's own subscription — so a transcript leaves the server to be read there.
What you send it
What happens to what I send?
It stays as files in your folder on the owner's server, until the owner removes them. The transcript and the map it became are kept side by side. Sending a meeting again does not overwrite the old transcript; it is renamed and kept. They are readable by you, by anyone the owner has invited in beside you, and by the owner, who runs the machine. No one else has a login.
There is no delete button today — not for a meeting, not for an account. Ask, and the owner removes it by hand, on the server: the same door as everything else here.
What does Riffmap promise?
Less than you might like, and we would rather say so. It is offered as it is, with no promise of uptime and no warranty of any kind. A map is one model's reading of a transcript: it can miss an idea, put a sentence in the wrong lane, or mistake who said it. Read the words that were said before you act on a map; a decision you make from one is yours, and so is what comes of it.
The server also has a daily limit on how many meetings it will run through the model, and a short queue. Past either, a meeting is turned away with a reason, and you can send it again later.
Can these words change?
Yes, and the product changes first. This page describes Riffmap as it is on the date at the top. When the product gains a thing — a delete button, a paid plan, a public address — this page gains the sentence and the date moves. Nothing is added here that the product cannot do.
